Moore Piano Services · Greenwood, South Carolina
Some pianos have more life in them than their current home can use. We accept retired pianos, restore them to playing condition, and find them new homes where they'll be played and loved again.
The retired piano program
Every year, hundreds of pianos across Upstate SC sit unplayed in living rooms, churches, and schools — taking up space and slowly deteriorating. Many of them still have years of music left in them. They just need a new home and a little care.
Our Retired Piano Program gives those instruments a second chance. We accept pianos that are no longer serving their purpose where they are, assess their condition, restore what's needed, and find them new homes with families, students, and organizations who will actually play them.
For you, the process is completely free and hassle-free. You fill out a short form, we come and assess the piano, and if it's accepted into the program we pick it up and leave you a receipt. No moving costs, no disposal fees, no stress.
How it works
Fill out the form
Tell us about your piano — make, model, age, condition, and location. The short form at the bottom of this page sends us everything we need to start the process.
We assess & accept
We'll review what you've submitted and reach out to schedule a visit. During the visit we assess the piano's condition and determine whether it's a fit for the program. If accepted, we schedule pickup.
We pick it up
We arrange and handle the pickup at no cost to you. You'll receive a receipt upon pickup. From there, we take the piano and find it a new home where it will be played and cared for.
A piano that's been loved deserves to be loved again. We believe every instrument that has music left in it should find someone to play it.
